We are thrilled to announce the upcoming release of Expressa 1.5, the latest version of our real-time configurator. With this new update, we have focused on enhancing the user experience and improving the configurator’s capabilities to provide you with the best possible tools for your work in real-time. 

Our team has worked tirelessly to ensure that this new version is more complete, with new productive tools and enhanced photo-realism.  

The following list is a selection of the most important features, among others, that will be announced in the upcoming release note.

Interactive Lighting

With interactive lighting, you have the flexibility to set different moods by adjusting the interior lights. Whether you want to see the cabin during the day or create a cozy atmosphere at night, the choice is yours. Additionally, you can easily turn on/off the reading lights according to your preference. 

Sun Rotation

Experiment with different lighting effects in your image by adjusting the sunlight. You can easily change the orientation of the sun to achieve the desired effect. This feature gives you complete control over the lighting in your image, allowing you to create stunning visuals with a more creative approach.

Animated Objects

To enhance the interactive journey, Expressa 1.5 comes with animated features inside the cabin, such as opening or closing the shades and doors, deploying tables, or adjusting the seat rotation.¹

Advanced Rendering Options for High Precision and Photorealism Results

Expressa now offers different rendering outputs to suit various needs and preferences.  

• For quick checks and experimentation, there are unlimited test renderings. 
• The Standard rendering option is a good choice for 90% of the cases, although it may not provide the highest accuracy in shadows and reflections. 
• The Production High rendering option is the way to go for those who prioritize high-precision outputs. It takes 3 to 20 minutes to render, depending on the hardware.  
• Finally, Production Superior renderings offer the same quality as Production High with less noise². It takes 8 to 30 minutes to render, depending on the hardware.  

More Intuitive Libraries

The libraries in Expressa 1.5 are more user-friendly, providing an easy way to work with materials, color schemes, and cameras. You can now add tags, filter and remove elements from the libraries to quickly find what you need. 

Cloud-Based Libraries

Users can now easily share the contents of libraries through a convenient feature that enables uploading or downloading of material libraries, color schemes, and cameras to and from the cloud.

¹Animated Objects: Expressa 1.5 incorporates basic animations, including animated shades, doors, tables, and seat rotation. Basic animations will be gradually incorporated into each aircraft of the Expressa Aircraft Library. Additional animation packages can be developed upon request. 

² Production High and Superior renderings use a more precise calculation method which produces some noise in the image. The higher the setting, the lower the noise.
