The latest update of Expressa Configurator brings enhanced performance, delivering a smoother and more efficient experience while navigating the aircraft. This update optimizes graphics handling and real-time visualization, providing a more realistic rendering across all Expressa Configurator´s platforms.
The quality control of the viewport has been enhanced, allowing users to manage image quality without significantly compromising visual fidelity. The performance while navigating the aircraft can be up to twice as smooth, maintaining the same quality. This feature perfectly balances performance and visual clarity, ensuring a more efficient and enjoyable working experience.
Shadows are now much more realistic, especially in overlapping surfaces, resulting in a more accurate simulation of depth and volume reducing light leaks.

Expressa Configurator 1.6 now comes with significant interface improvements, including an enhanced material editor that allows users to see material changes applied directly in the scene in real-time. By delivering a more intuitive and efficient workflow, we ensure that our tools align with the high expectations of our customers.
This new template features nine layers with individual masks, enabling the creation of intricate designs with varied pile textures and colors. Users will upload the specific maps to represent the desired pile look.
This template is a simplified version of the previous one, including presets for cut or loop pile, making the process easier. You only need to upload the mask with the shapes of your carpet design.
This template offers the capability to support up to three layers, providing you with the tools to create a wide variety of leather designs from scratch. Whether you’re crafting intricate patterns or exploring bold textures, the possibilities are endless.
Additionally, the template enables you to bring custom quilt designs to life. By importing masks for each layer—quilt design, stitching, and perforations—you can achieve a seamless and highly personalized result tailored to your specifications.
This new feature has been added to the material editor, enabling a glossier finish on different surfaces and allows us to create multilayered materials that appear to have a smooth translucent layer over another surface. You will have independent control on the base surface and coat layers.
One of the most exciting updates in Expressa Configurator 1.6 is the ability to change the colors of all cabin lighting devices. This feature allows you to create various lighting moods within the scene, resulting in more dynamic and visually striking images.
This new version of Expressa Configurator improves the image rendering process. This results in a 40% reduction in rendering time for images exported using Superior and Production quality. For images exported with Standard quality, the rendering time is reduced by 25%.
We understand how important it is for our users to achieve realistic reproduction of every material in their aircraft. That’s why we’ve improved the rendering of reflected light, resulting in higher fidelity for metallic surfaces and reducing the noise levels that were more noticeable in previous versions.
Improved performance in anti-aliasing processing for renderings exported in standard quality. The result is a cleaner and more natural image, even at lower quality settings.
We understand how crucial it is for our users to quickly generate high-quality animated content. With the latest version, animations can now be rendered in half the time compared to the previous version.
You can now generate PDFs with additional fields. In previous versions, the templates were fixed, but now we offer a more flexible version for our clients.
