New Features & Enhancements

• Interactive Lighting: choose to see the cabin during the day or night. Also, you can turn on/off ambient and reading lights.

• Sun Rotation: turn on/off sunlight and adjust sun orientation. 

• Movable Monuments: Interact with the main elements in the cabin (open/close shades and doors, deploy tables or rotate/recline seats). 

Expressa now offers different rendering outputs:  

• Test renderings: come with a watermark and are unlimited.  
• Standard renderings: ideal for most cases; they provides less accurate results in shadows and reflections¹.  
• Production High renderings: highly realistic images with precise lighting, and 7-20 minutes rendering time (depending on hardware). Good result after denoising². Ideal for high-end visual content.  
• Production Superior renderings: same quality as Production High renderings with less noise. Takes 10-40 minutes to render (depending on hardware). Better result after denoising². 

• Export Movies: preview and export movies.³ 
• Cloud Based Libraries: upload or download the contents of material libraries, color schemes, and cameras to or from the cloud. 

• More Intuitive Libraries: more user-friendly libraries that allow intuitive manipulation of materials, cameras, and color schemes. You can add tags, filter, and remove elements from the library. 

• Unlimited Slots to save color schemes, materials, and cameras.  
• Materials: undo and redo material assignments.   
• Login: reset your login password using your email.   
• Ruler for checking measurements inside the cabin.

• Save and Load Configurations: you can now save and load layouts, additional customizations, materials, and interactive elements.  
• Material Library Shortcut. 
• Viewport Graphics: regulates the visual quality displayed on the screen. Clicking on this menu element reveals three options for visual quality, including “low,” “medium,” and “high”. 

Bug Fixes

Previously, the color wheel in the Base Color editor of the Material Editor displayed colors incorrectly. Now, the color wheel shows colors accurately.

The higher the specs, the more quality features can be enabled, and the greater compatibility with future updates.  

Notes

• ¹Mirror or glass reflections in Standard renderings may appear distorted. Use Production renderings for more accurate results. 
• ²To further improve the quality of Production Renderings (both High and Superior), an external denoiser like Topaz Studio can be used. Expressa generates renderings in two formats: with denoise or without denoise. If you choose to use external denoising software, you must use the rendering without denoise. 
• PDF reports are generated using Standard renderings. You can edit the report later using PDF editing software if you prefer Production renderings. 
• ³ The movies are generated with a preset camera path and exported in image sequence format. The image sequence can be edited using preferred editing software such as Windows Video Editor, Adobe Premiere, or similar.   
• All aircraft available in the Expressa Aircraft Library are compatible with Expressa 1.5 and will be updated gradually. 
• License Information: Expressa will notify users before their license expires.
