Royal Thai – Metallics Collection

Royal Thai is internationally recognized for crafting bespoke, high-end carpets tailored to the aviation industry. Their Metallics Collection reflects a refined balance between elegance and innovation — combining luminous fibers, intricate textures, and subtle metallic accents that respond beautifully to light.

Designed to elevate premium interiors, these carpets are not simply surfaces — they are design statements. The interplay of gold and metallic tones creates depth, movement, and a sense of understated luxury, making them particularly suited for executive and VVIP aircraft cabins where every material choice contributes to the overall atmosphere.

Bringing the Metallics Collection to Life

For this project, we developed a series of renders and a cinematic animation inspired by the Metallics Collection, using a color mood that pays homage to its tonal richness and reflective qualities.

As the camera moves through the cabin, fibers catch the light, metallic threads subtly shimmer, and textures respond dynamically — reinforcing the idea that design truly comes alive when it moves.

The goal was not only to visualize materials, but to translate their physical beauty into an immersive digital experience aligned with contemporary business aviation interiors.

Powered by Expressa Configurator 1.6

This project was developed using Expressa Configurator 1.6, demonstrating how advanced visualization tools can transform the way material collections are presented and managed within the aviation ecosystem.

Expressa helps companies:

  • Centralize and manage material libraries with precision
  • Optimize workflows between design, engineering, and sales teams
  • Maintain brand consistency across projects and regions
  • Standardize visualization quality according to internal guidelines
  • Connect vendors directly with OEMs, MROs, and Completion Centers

Material suppliers such as Royal Thai can integrate their collections directly into the platform, enabling aviation stakeholders to apply carpets across cabin layouts instantly and preview results with the required fidelity — all within their own branded environment.

No fragmented pipelines.
No dependency on external rendering workflows.

Just a unified ecosystem where vendors, manufacturers, MROs, and Completion Centers collaborate through structured, visually accurate material data.

This featured project illustrates how the Metallics Collection, combined with Expressa Configurator 1.6, becomes more than a visualization exercise — it becomes a strategic bridge between premium material suppliers and the complex operational structure of the aviation industry.
